Best NBA Player who ever Walked the Earth!

Who is the best basketball player who have walked the earth?

That is a great question but everyone knows that it is Bill Russell! Bill Russell is the best basketball player because he is the only person in NBA history to have 11 rings. He had so much rings that he had an extra ring on his pinky. Yep, that is a lot of rings to have. Not even Kobe Bryant and Magic Johnson have those type of rings( to be specific, they both have five rings). Not even Micheal Jordan got those many rings. And my role model Rajon Rondo doesn’t have those many rings. But he is also the best because he works hard to accomplish what he wants and have.

Bill Russell has went through a lot, a lot of things that is surprising. Bill has even been the coach and a player at the same time playing for the Boston Celtics. Bill Russell was one of the only black person on his team and he rose above the challenges to get his rings. In his thirteen year career as an NBA hall of famer, Bill Russell had also won a gold medal at the 1956 Summer Olympics as captain of the U.S. national basketball team. Before his professional career, Russell led the University of San Francisco to two consecutive NCAA championships in the years of 1955 and 1956. Russell is widely considered one of the best players in NBA history. Listed as between 6’9″ and 6’10”, Russell’s shot-blocking and man-to-man defense were major reasons for the Celtics’ success. He also inspired his teammates to elevate their own defensive play. Russell was equally notable for his rebounding abilities. He led the NBA in rebounds four times and tallied 21,620 total rebounds in his career.

These are the reasons why Bill Russell is the best NBA player who have ever walked the face of the earth. In my opinion, no one will ever get that many rings as Russell. And not even Kobe Bryant or even LeBron James in their careers. Bill Russell, you will always be the best basketball player who had played for the NBA!
